Our clients, a family of four, wanted to grow their own food by converting an unused section of garden into a kitchen garden. The 100 sq mt kitchen garden was designed by us, and set up by our team over a period of about 10 days. The garden continues to be productive several years later and often produces surplus beyond what the family can consume.
With both sunny and shady sections, it was important make sure that the growing areas were planned carefully. Soil also had to be improved considerably since it was clayey with considerable laterite rubble. We also coached the clients through one growing season of about three months.
